• Toyota Prius. Most people say that this car put hybrids on the map. Not only is it environmentally friendly and extremely fuel efficient the design is classy with elegant yet futuristic interiors.

• Mercedes-Benz E320 BLUETEC. Yes, a luxury car gets into the list. This diesel-powered ride has a 3-liter V6 power plant that offers the power and performance of a V8 but with the fuel economy of a compact sedan.
